TOTAL RECALL ("Desafio Total") instead of THE SHOOTER ("Desafio Final") on a Spanish admission stub

Xevi Stark @xevi_7

Esta entrada está mal. La peli que fui a ver es Desafío Final, con Dolph Lundgren, pero el que imprimió las entradas seguramente era más fan de Schwarzenegger.

From the Parisian program "L'Officiel des spectacles" (which I kept), July 17, 1996.

8 screens in the greater Paris area (including suburbs).
(in comparison, MEN OF WAR had 30 screens in greater Paris, JOSHUA TREE had 29, and COVER-UP had 20)

German label Retro Gold 63 just announced a "proper HD" Blu-ray (don't say if it's the longer version or the US edit)

I believe that label put out a few Seagal and JCVD movies on Blu-ray last year. I remember them creating an account to talk about one of the Seagal films on another forum. Maybe that's something they're willing to do on this forum as well?

Best case scenario is that it includes both the cuts.

For sure.

They seem a little weird though, making up cover arts that include utterly and gratuitously sexist and gore motifs for no reason...

Yeah, they have some, uhm, interesting artwork... I think some of their releases require age verification (18+) on their site. So it's possible there's even more risque stuff on there.

These types of limited mediabooks sell quite well in Germany. I'm guessing artwork like that has their fair share of collectors as well (they're all appear to be sold out).

I still don't fully understand why Germany has such a big boom of people who buy mediabooks, hartboxes, etc. I own a few of them, and a lot of companies simply re-package old discs with some luxurious packaging and charge €30-€50 for them. I guess it's similar to steelbooks and people wanting slipcovers for every Scream Factory or Vinegar Syndrome release.
