Don't know if that one was shared, but interview from 1987 french gay magazine "Mâles" (after reading it, and given the name of the interviewer, I doubt it's a real interview, but who knows).

It's the way they did the translation and probably took liberties, the style is very 80s in the way interviews were in French magazines back then.

30 years ago in Cannes, promoting the recently-filmed JOHNNY MNEMONIC while announcing his next projects: the ultimately unproduced MELTDOWN and Ted Kotcheff's THE SHOOTER.

When asked if he would direct one day, DL replies he's not sure, because he finds the director's job being the toughest, and he'd rather focus on acting first...
