Pressure Cooker Music has released a soundtrack album for the animated feature Seal Team. The album features the film’s original score composed by Andries Smit (Vagrant Queen, Triggered, House on Willow Street, An Elephant’s Journey) & Elben Schutte (The Soul Collector, Wild Is the Wind). Visit Amazon or any other major digital music services to stream/download the soundtrack. Seal Team is directed by Greig Cameron & Kane Croudace and features the voices of Jessie T. Usher, J.K. Simmons, Kristen Schaal, Matthew Rhys, Sharlto Copley, Patrick Warburton, Camille Mana, Dolph Lundgren, John Kani and Seal. The movie follows a fearless seal who assembles a squad of misfit recruits to stand up to ruthless sharks with razor-sharp teeth and reclaim the open sea. The animated comedy was released theatrically in several international markets in late 2021 and early 2022 and made its domestic debut on Netflix.

Recorded live at the 13th edition of the Tenerife International Film Music Festival (FIMUCITÉ). Arranged by Leigh Phillips, conducted by Diego Navarro and performed at the Auditorium of Tenerife by the CPMTFE-CSMC FIMUCITÉ Youth Symphony Orchestra, composed of students from the Professional Music Conservatory of Santa Cruz de Tenerife and of the Conservatory of Music of the Canary Islands this landmark world premiere concert featured Vince on keyboards performing his compositions from the film.

This is an EP presentation for physical music collectors and fans of Vince DiCola. The program runs just over 20 minutes but is priced to reflect this.

Many of you have reached out asking if my Rocky IV: The Symphonic Rock Suite will ever be available. I'm happy to report at long last you can pre-order it today. It was one of the greatest pleasures of my life to be able to perform it with the CPMTFE-CSMC Fimucité Youth Symphony Orchestra at the 13th Annual Fimucité Festival in Tenerife Spain in 2019. I have to thank from the bottom of my heart my friends Diego Navarro, Pedro J. Mérida & Ana Molowny for helping us get this out as well as Kenny for mastering this to make it sound fantastic. And thank you to Bryon Davis & Peter Hackman at Notefornote Music. This album will be up digitally to coincide with the new Rocky IV Director's Cut on November 12th. ‘Expendables 4’ Soundtrack Album Details (no CD this time)

Millennium Media Records will release the official soundtrack album for the action sequel Expend4bles. The album features the film’s original score composed by Guillaume Roussel (3 Days to Kill, Black Beauty, The Three Musketeers: D’Artagnan, The Spy, Happy!, The Man with the Iron Heart). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, September 22. The streaming/download link will be added to this article within the next day. Expend4bles is directed by Scott Waugh and stars Jason Statham, Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, Megan Fox, Tony Jaa, Dolph Lundgren, Iko Uwais, Andy Garcia, Randy Couture, Jacob Scipio, Levy Tran and Sylvester Stallone. The fourth installment in the Expendables series is being released in theaters nationwide this weekend by Lionsgate.

We here at Notefornote Music are proud to announce that we just snagged our first ever exclusive release for April Record Store Day! Yes, we've had releases in the November Black Friday RSD event in the past (2 releases), but this is the one we've been working to be part of for years and we achieved that goal!

The Punisher, composed by Dennis Dreith, will be part of the RSD celebration scheduled for April 20, 2024 nationwide. We suggest that you let your local RSD affiliated indie record store know you'd love to get this title (this helps them decide how much to order even though it's not a guarantee that any store gets the exact amount they order). This is a limited edition of 900 units and is making it's debut on vinyl for the first time ever. The Punisher is a black vinyl edition but we cut it at 45 RPM and judging from the test pressings we listened to, it sounds wonderful!

Please support the label and pick this release up if you are a fan of bold action scoring. A sell out helps us find more unheralded gems and get them the opportunity to be considered for this important event. This music is such a great and underrated score to a film that doesn't get enough love in an age where the Punisher character is as big as ever.

David Spear began his career orchestrating many film scores for Elmer Bernstein including AIRPLANE, ANIMAL HOUSE, HEAVY METAL and GHOSTBUSTERS. After his Broadway debut as Music Director of MERLIN, THE MAGICAL MUSICAL, Spear wrote scores for three Academy Award nominated films: RAINBOW WAR, BALLET ROBOTIQUE, and THE COURAGE TO CARE. He composed the music for the Emmy Award winning National Geographic documentary, SURVIVING EVEREST. One of his first major scores was for the 1981 vampire thriller FEAR NO EVIL, composed in collaboration with the film’s writer/director Frank LaLoggia. He led the Indianapolis Symphony for the 2008 premiere of THE LANGSTON HUGHES PROJECT featuring Ice-T and the Ron McCurdy Quartet. A dedicated educator, Spear served as faculty at Berklee College of Music (1991-1995), USC Thornton School of Music (1995-2006), NYU (2009-2013), and at Portland State as 2017 Artist-in-Residence. His work in academia and industry thrives on decades of creative collaboration with many notable artists, directors and scholars.

Dragon’s Domain Records presents PENTATHLON, featuring music composed and conduted by David Spear for the very first time on compact disc. The music has been mastered by James Nelson at Digital Outland and the liner notes have been written by author David Hirsch.

PENTATHLON is a limited edition release. PENTATHLON is expected to begin shipping the week of September 2, 2024.
